PTFE Sheet - Slideways
Because PTFE has a very low co-efficient of friction and certainly the lowest of all the engineering plastics, PTFE is an excellent material for use on slideways. PTFE Sheet will provide component parts that are very free running and if you remember that PTFE has similar friction levels to ice, there is no better material.

PTFE Sheet - High Temperatures
One of the few engineering plastics that can work at over 200°C means that PTFE is perfect for covering surfaces on heat sources, although as with all plastics, material expansion must be taken into account.

PTFE Sheet - Electrical Insulation
As a high electrical insulator, PTFE Sheet is chosen where other materials such as PVC are unable to withstand and begin to breakdown. PTFE will provide insulation properties at high levels and for longer periods and combined with the high heat resistance which is often accompanied with these applications, PTFE Sheet is probably one of the best engineering plastics.
